Sometimes, we need to take off the stainless steel wire rope wound on the reel and reel, but don't think that you can just pull it off like a tape measure. Pulling at will may cause bending and twisting of the stainless steel wire rope, which will damage the performance of the stainless steel wire rope.
When unwinding the stainless steel wire rope from the drum, some measures should be taken to prevent the stainless steel wire rope from twisting or reducing its degree of twist. Because the twisting of the stainless steel wire rope may cause loops, kinks or bends in the rope, in order to prevent this from happening, the stainless steel wire rope should be kept in tension and confirmed that it is in a straight state. In addition, the rotating reels and reels have great inertia, so they cannot be pulled at will. Instead, the rotation speed of the reels and reels should be controlled, so that the stainless steel wire ropes are slowly unfolded in sequence.
At the same time, it should also be noted that the stainless steel wire rope wound on the reel should be kept as clean as possible, and should not be placed randomly. The purpose of storing it on the reel is to properly store the stainless steel wire rope to avoid damage. If the stainless steel wire rope is damaged due to wrong operation, it will be troublesome.
When storing stainless steel wire rope, you should choose a place that is dry, clean, and free of corrosion pollution sources. For stainless steel wire rope with a length of more than 30m, roll it on a reel for storage, so as to prevent the stainless steel wire rope from being damaged.
